Candle Lid Stuck

Hello Candle Lovers!

If you've ever had a candle lid stuck, here are 3 ways to loosen it (and other jars as well).

1. Use a jar opener, either a flat piece of silicone with rippled grip on one side, or a lid opener that works like a pair of pliers.

2. Tap lightly all around the edge of the circular lid with a small, kitchen hammer.

3. Run warm to hot water over the lid for a few minutes. Hot/warm water excites the molecules in the lid causing spaces between them, ergo enlarging the lid on a molecular level. Using hand protection from the heat, unscrew the lid. Caveat to using the hot water method: don't run the water over a candle lid for too long as you wouldn't want to melt the wax inside the container.
